Millésime Bio 2024: Between Challenges and Opportunities

The curtain has come down on the 2024 edition of Millésime Bio, the world's largest event dedicated to organic wine. With 1,500 exhibitors and 9,600 visitors, this major event once again brought together the key players in the organic wine industry. But this year, the atmosphere was tinged with a certain reserve, with a mixed picture hovering over the aisles of the show.

While the figures are still impressive, they do not conceal a palpable reality: a slight drop in attendance compared to expectations, with 11,000 visitors expected compared to 9,600 present. Some exhibitors expressed their disappointment, pointing to the potential impact of the recent farmers' strike on this lower attendance.

Yet amidst this mixed picture, there were glimmers of optimism. For our company, this year's Millésime Bio was a success. With over 30 meetings held, we forged solid links both nationally and internationally. Our contacts in France included wholesalers, wine merchants and restaurateurs, all with a passion for organic wine. What's more, our presence has attracted the attention of importers from as far afield as Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Spain and even South Korea.

The show was an opportunity for us to fill orders on the spot, a tangible sign of the interest in our products. In addition, we are proud to announce the recruitment of three new agents, reinforcing our presence and dynamism in the market. These promising results pave the way for excellent sales prospects over the coming months.

Millésime Bio 2024 may have been marked by challenges, but for our company it was above all an opportunity to consolidate our links with our existing partners and to forge new ones. In a world where demand for organic products continues to grow, we are convinced that the future of organic wine is bright. And it is with great enthusiasm that we are committed to continuing this wonderful adventure, in the service of a winegrowing industry that is more respectful of the environment and consumers.
